Most canal house hotels have raised their rates beyond the budget range, but you'll still find a few listed here. Even if you don't stay in a canal house, you'll most likely stay in a building built 250 to 350 years ago during Amsterdam's golden age. If you have difficulty climbing stairs, ask for a room on a low floor.
